Guide pour le Xeon X5650 OC
Hello everyone, I'm looking for help with overclocking my X5650 CPU. I've checked forums and YouTube, but no useful info seems available. I'm having trouble booting—sometimes I need to remove the CMOS battery and reinsert it, or else I just keep restarting. My system specs are: motherboard ASUS P6T6 WS, Intel Xeon X5650 CPU, 10GB DDR3 RAM at 1333Mhz, a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070 Ti GPU, and a 600W PSU with a Chieftec heatsink that holds two 120mm coolers. I won't accept generic suggestions like "better triple channel RAM." Can anyone assist me with this?
Do you verify dropping the memory multiplier during OC? BCLK OC will display the memory speed.
Sure, I attempted one choice but wasn't completely confident. I'm aiming for a target of 3.6 to 3.8.
Requires a 164 MHz clock to reach 3.6 GHz. Use a 22x scaling factor. Turn off c-states and enable turbo boost. Adjust memory settings to the 1066 MHz multiplier, which should yield around 1300 MHz. Most Westmere-EP Xeons should handle this without needing voltage adjustments.
