Guide pour configurer Mikrotik SwOS CRS326
Hello, So, I may be in over my head here but here is what I have going on. I just purchased a Mikrotik CRS 236 to act as a switch for my home network. I am using a Dell Power edge r620 as a PFSense router and it currently has two LAN interfaces, one connecting to a VPN and the other connecting to the WAN. My goal is to be able to take both of those connections and then assign which one I want connecting to each port on the switch, but I am not sure how to set that up. any help would be appreciated.
You’re checking your setup carefully. Placing the VPN LAN cable on port 1 and WAN LAN on port 9 is a solid start. Creating port isolation by assigning specific ranges (2-8 for VPN, 10-16 for WAN) ensures traffic stays within those groups. Since you’re skipping ports 17-24 and disabling SFP+ ports, it should simplify management and reduce complexity. This approach aligns with your goal of directing traffic efficiently.
