Hello Everyone, I recently assembled a computer and am facing difficulties installing Windows 11. I keep getting an error about missing drivers. I checked the FAQ and motherboard manual, which mentioned pre-installed RAID drivers. I downloaded them, extracted them, but the same issue persists. The Windows installer says the drivers are already there, yet it won’t load them even when forced during setup. It claims they’re unnecessary since they’re not new. I also tried all available drivers for the motherboard and still encountered the same problem. After some research, I found the error might occur if the USB is connected to a USB3 port instead of a standard port. I’ve tested other ports without success. I’m unsure what to do next. My plan is to recreate the USB boot process for Windows 11, possibly to check for corruption. Any suggestions or alternative approaches would be appreciated.

Check the motherboard details and verify if a BIOS manual is available. Look into BIOS settings to manage RAID configurations and consider disabling RAID if needed.

That would have been useful in my initial message. Excuse the oversight. Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX 7600X Teamgroup MP33 1TB M.2 is ready for the boot drive Teamgroup CX2 2TB SSD, though no GPU is installed yet. Sadly, the SSD isn’t connected right now because I wanted to check what’s causing the problem.

Checked the instructions in chapter 4-1 of the manual and confirmed compatibility with the AMD RAID Preinstall Driver for Windows 11.

When attempting to load them, the system indicates they are already in use because they match the current version.

Review your BIOS configuration and turn off RAID support for both SATA and NVMe interfaces when using AHCI mode.

Have you checked if your M.2 storage was inserted into another compatible slot (M2B_CPU or M2C_SB)? Is it showing up in the BIOS? Your M.2 controller is a Gen 5 model, while the drive itself is Gen 3. You might want to adjust the slot’s PCIe version to Gen 3 if your BIOS supports it.

Did you try another M.2 port, such as M2C_SB? Is it visible in the BIOS settings?
