Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a PC this summer and was curious about getting Windows 10. I saw a video from Linus on NCIX, but it wasn't great or up-to-date. Any suggestions or help would be super appreciated!

The Microsoft site requires a W10 key, which you can find at /r/microsoftsoftwareswap for a low price.

Consider saving it to a bootable USB stick and inserting it into the system. Then navigate to the motherboard configuration menu and apply it as the boot option.

I've noticed others suggesting them, but I haven't purchased a Windows key before. Updating Windows 10 is free, then installing it gives a profit!

Get the ISO from Microsoft's site and purchase Windows 10 from that link. The prices range around $26 to $28 USD. I've already fixed several PCs with these product keys, and they all function perfectly. Pauls Hardware also uses them and suggests them.

Using the same hard drive might affect the drivers, while the new ones should take precedence.
