Would switching from 3000mHz to 3600mHz (or possibly 4000) provide any noticeable improvements in performance or stability? My goal is to move from my Ryzen 3600 to a Ryzen 5800x for better FPS and consistency in Valorant. Based on my current setup, I suspect I'll need even higher RAM speeds to keep up with the CPU's capabilities. I've checked my motherboard support for these frequencies and the new CPU, and everything looks compatible. I'm considering a few RAM options: RGB XPG DDR4 D50, GAMMIX D45G, and several high-speed models from G.Skill and Corsair. Lower CAS latency can help, but its impact on FPS in games like Valorant is subtle. RGB lighting isn't essential for me, though I might enjoy the look.
