Looking for optimal PBO BIOS configurations for a 5950x on a Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master. Currently PBO is enabled without specific tweaks, but 3D Mark scores range from 22800 to 22777 on a 3080 Ti. I'm curious if noticeable improvements exist for overclocking to 4.9 GHz or higher, especially since gaming runs at 1440p. Any advice would be appreciated.

Honestly just dont bother You can gain alot more from ram overclocking than cpu overclocking nowadays, so if you have some good rams then just oc the sht out of them and that will be a good way to boost performance abit Pbo might give a slight diff but its just not worth it anymore, just leave it at auto, and maybe screw around with curve optimizer a lil And this is coming from an ocing nut that oc the absolute sht out of his hardware

You can adjust the ppt limit to manage temperatures while accepting a performance drop over 5%. I recommend checking stock for ppt and reducing the value by 40-50, then experimenting further. Alternatively, try Clocktuner for Ryzen—it performs well enough.

I'll give clocktuner a shot.
