Hello,

I’m planning to enhance my gaming PC that I assembled myself. However, I’ve never really focused on hardware or understood different models, so I’m unsure about performance and compatibility. Could you please review my shopping list and component details? Let me know if there are any concerns, suggestions, or issues.

Approximate purchase date: next week
Budget range: none – just avoid overspending or buying expensive items (though everything seems overpriced now). Around 2000 USD should suffice.

System usage from most to least important:
- Play new games with good graphics and use the PC for casual AI tasks.

Monitor: No

Parts to upgrade:
- CPU, motherboard, cooling system, RAM (already purchased)
- Operating System: No need for a change
- Need an OS: No
- If using an OEM Windows license, you’ll need a new one when buying a new motherboard.

Preferred parts sources:
Location: Czech Republic, Europe

Parts preferences: none – I prefer not to support Nividia
Overclocking: Not sure how it works, so no
Multiple GPUs: No

Monitor resolution: 3440x1440

Additional notes:
I’m open to swapping other components or choosing completely different items from my list.

Why am I upgrading?
- I already have a DDR5 RAM kit; I need a new motherboard for it.
- My current list includes:
- OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Home
- Tower model: (details not specified)
- Case: Fractal Design Meshify 3 XL Ambience Pro RGB PC Case, Full Tower, E-ATX, Tempered Glass – Black
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE AX
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 8 cores, 5.2 GHz
- GPU: TRYX PANORAMA 360 AiO, 3D-AMOLED-Display – 360mm, black
- RAM: Viper Venom DDR5 2x32 PC5-48000 6000MT/s
- Storage: 2TB WD_Black SN850X NVMe SSD, Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2TB
- GPU cooler: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
- Power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000G XC 1000W ATX 3.0
- Monitor: MSI LED-Monitor, 3440x1440, UWQHD, 100Hz
- Case: X570 AORUS ELITE
- CPU cooler: EKL Alpenföhn Brocken 3
- RAM upgrade: 32GB (2x16GB) G.Skill RipJaws V DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16-18-18-38

Please let me know if anything is missing.

Best regards,
Y

Tower (I want to buy): Fractal Design Meshify 3 XL Ambience Pro RGB PC Case, Full Tower, E-ATX, Tempered Glass - Black Motherboard (I want to buy): ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-I GAMING WIFI Based on your selection, you’re looking for a case compatible with an E-ATX motherboard, yet you’re leaning toward an M-ITX board—an unusual choice. If I were you, I’d opt for a more compact case or a bigger motherboard to better utilize the available space. Power (built into old system): EVGA SuperNOVA 1000G XC 1000W ATX 3.0 What’s the age of your PSU in this build, and are you planning to recycle it? With the AIO cooling setup, I’m still unsure about the details. We recommend users provide thread information when seeking advice on new builds or upgrades. *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* First, acknowledge the proper context—this adaptation comes from the Animal’s *How To Ask For New Build Advice* post. I made it to offer guidance since many people are reaching out for upgrade tips here and on CPU forums. This helps the community contribute useful ideas. *Forums. offers helpful context, showing what users in your area have access to, which can prevent unnecessary back-and-forth about regional availability.

Thank you for your update.
I understand, and I appreciate it.
For instance, the B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE seems like a good choice.
You can find more details here: https://www.alza.cz/gigabyte-b650e-aorus...12.htm?o=1
Feel free to recommend another motherboard if you wish.
I purchased the PSU in mid-2024.

GC (installed in older system): AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Which RX 7900 XTX model suits you best?
You might consider a Ryzen 5 9600x instead of the 9800X3D if targeting 1440p resolution. For maximum performance, the 9800X3D is definitely worth the investment.

Thank you very much.
I’m not sure how to identify my RX7900 XTX or clarify your question.
It’s a SAPPHIRE Pulse Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 24GB GDDR6.
