Is there any value in it? It's currently listed at $4 on Steam. I'm checking if it still holds up in terms of gameplay, physics, and graphics today.

It's fine, though nothing shocking. I just purchased it to cause explosions in structures (#singularitybombFTW).

It seems you'd like to experiment with some ideas. Let's try a few!

the physics are worth the 4$ alone, it's just for fun to experiment with

Not too long ago the entire set was just five dollars. I considered Gorilla to be a lot of mindless entertainment. I tried it for the first time last year and completely missed its age. It looked great and moved smoothly.

You only realized it after nerd3 played it and the physics seemed enjoyable.

It's okay to try it out. I liked the game, though it doesn't explore the story as much as I'd prefer since you don't get to know the characters well. I still suggest avoiding Red Faction Armageddon—it's been heavily altered with a surprising ending. Red Faction 1 stands out as the strongest in the series. Red Faction 2 is decent but not great, yet it's still fun.

I enjoyed the experience because it brought me back to playing. The destructible environments were a nice touch. The graphics aren’t as groundbreaking as some games today, so it’s not the biggest focus.
