Hello, do you know if anyone has successfully run watchdogs without lag on a GTX780? I have an Evga GTX780 SC ACX with stock clocks. I followed the guide from GeForce about performance tweaks, but the game still felt slow—about half a second delay behind the mouse. There was no stuttering, but there was noticeable lag between the mouse and monitor. In fast-moving car scenes, it started to stutter again. I reduced textures to use only 2 gigabytes of memory, which helped somewhat, though stutter persisted in intense graphics moments. Also, I find it hard to enjoy driving scenes; the controls feel delayed, like they're lagging behind the mouse or keyboard. Any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated. Thanks!

Disable frame buffering, adjust INI settings, and eliminate mouse acceleration.

The game is terrible. Ignore your equipment concerns.

On a 780i it runs smoothly at ultra settings with high textures and 45+ fps. It’s definitely playable, though not perfectly optimized.

I quit before halfway through. The frame drop was frustrating. It’s not bad, but the poor optimization really gets to me.

They made improvements in the latest updates that resolved many of the FPS problems I faced, so completing the game is now fine for me.

The optimization really suffers in that game. I can handle medium-high settings smoothly at 50-60 fps without noticeable stutter, even while walking. Even when using all low settings and 720p resolution on any vehicle, I experience heavy stuttering. This is especially noticeable with the GTX 590 and the latest stable drivers.

You're experiencing low frame rates on your R9 290 at maximum settings—currently around 32fps. Reducing audio codec to AA helped improve it to 50-60fps. For TheWorse mod, version 0.6, you moved files into the data_win64 folder but noticed no quality changes.

Borderless setting usually reduces stutter, VSync might help, and a single buffered frame can work fine.

Borderless mode refers to a gaming setting where the window displays a full screen without any borders. When you first started the game, it showed a small icon near the top right, indicating it was running in windowed mode. Pressing ALT-ENTER made it switch to fullscreen, which is what you described as borderless mode.
