GTX 980ti SLI
GTX 980ti SLI
Hi all,
I'm considering upgrading my GPU for SLI. I currently have a 980ti Strix (not overclocked from the factory). Would using SLI with a 980ti Strix overclocked work? It's essentially the same, just with different clock speeds, right?
The bottom card aims to align with the top card. Therefore, if your current stock card matches the overclock, it will perform well. If not, you'll need to place the slower card at the top. I've never encountered a stock card failing to handle a minor overclock, so you should be fine. Just ensure your case provides adequate airflow and you have a power supply of 800 watts or more.
