Any monitor can do DSR. DSR is a software oversampling.
That's about what my 970 does stably. Seems pretty typical.

MSI 970 delivers full performance at 100% with no modifications.
Core speed: +225, Memory speed: +575.
This is the output I receive with my setup.
Operating temperature stays below 64°C.
