Hello everyone, I have a Strix GTX 970 and I successfully overclocked it quite a bit. The default voltage for this card is 1.2V, and I can add up to 37mV more if needed. However, even after increasing it by that amount, the card still doesn't exceed 1.2V, remaining at that level no matter what I do.

I increased the core clock to +205 and the memory clock to +550, but so far I haven't encountered any problems except for a performance caption in the GPU Z being linked to voltage. As mentioned, the card never goes above 1.2V even when I apply more than 20mV or 37mV. Should I keep it at this setting? Also, the temperature hasn't risen above 66°C, and I haven't noticed any artifacts or crashes yet.

It seems the card's BIOS is secured. Changing it would require another unlocked BIOS, which isn't worth the effort. The 970 offers a solid overhaul—possibly extending core time while reducing memory usage.

No, just a little change could cause a crash
😛
