Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I increased the overclock of my GTX 970 and it worked fine on BF4. Today I pushed it even further and it began crashing in BF4, so I lowered it back to my earlier settings. After that, I played two matches without any issues until it crashed again. Please help.

Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I increased the overclock of my gtx 970 and it worked fine in bf4. Recently it began crashing after further overclocking, so I reduced it back to my earlier settings and managed to play two matches without issues before it crashed again. Please help. Well bf4 isn't recognized as stable by anyone. Try downloading evga's precisionX and oc scanner. Let the oc scanner run for a short time to stress your card, observe if it crashes. If it doesn't, it confirms the card is just bf4 being unreliable. Return to stock clocks on the card and test again, or move slightly further from your current position.

i followed the overclocking guide you shared, and it worked well until i tried it with csgo. the game would freeze briefly and then return to normal. later, it crashed during a test in msi kombustor. any idea why this happened? also, i noticed many artifacts in the firestrike benchmark and display driver crashes at the end.

This indicates your overclock is too high. You should reduce it.

I followed the overclocking instructions you shared in the post, and everything worked smoothly until I tried it with CSGO. The game would freeze briefly and then return to normal. Later, it crashed during a test with Msi Kombustor. I also noticed many artifacts in the Firestrike benchmark and display driver crashes at the end. Try lowering your memory clock and see if the artifacts disappear. If they stop, the memory clock was too high. Similarly, reduce your core clock and check—if the artifacts vanish, the core clock was likely the issue. Sometimes it takes a day or two for the problems to resolve.

weird... it looks like I resolved the csgo issue, but in fire strike the display turns orange and black... what's going on? are these glitches? and i don't want to drop below 130 core clock and 300 memory...
