GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 Gaming Overclocking driver issues are common.
Hello,
I was wondering if someone else has experienced this problem.
I attempted to overclock my GTX 970 and ran benchmarks with 3DMARK Firestrike.
I adjusted the core clock to +150, memory clock to +200, and used MSI Afterburner.
The tests stopped abruptly with an error message saying the Driver's Kernel didn't respond, even though default speeds worked fine.
Could this be a known issue with NVIDIA drivers? I'm using the newest ones available.
I understand that recently some users have reported issues with the latest Nvidia drivers. I would consider downgrading the driver and retrying. My system has a 980 Ti and the newest driver leads to N.Experience freezing my PC, but reverting to the older version resolved the problem.

It generally indicates that you have OCD too severe, causing drivers to crash. This occurs when I overload the system, so try running the test at +100. If it doesn’t crash, you’re overloading too much. Keep your PC restarted before attempting +100, or it will likely fail again.
