GTX 970 crashes when overclocking—should I increase the voltage?
others say it's just a lot of luck, but don't worry too much since I rarely land on the right side of that thing. I also tend to get the lower end of the cards, which is fine for a high-end stable that keeps me running at full capacity without any crashes or slowdowns. Luckily, I usually receive decent stock boost cards, though I do have some weaker ones that barely meet expectations. It seems like I'm getting all the good fortune you're noticing.
i usually have a great overclocker setup for my CPU and GPU. I can easily reach 5ghz on this 7700k, and still get 2100mhz boost on my GTX1070 with minimal effort—no need for a modified BIOS this time.
