Hello, I'm looking for assistance with boosting the performance of this mobile GPU. I've managed to increase its speed but am uncertain about the optimal settings. If others have experience with this model and have done similar adjustments, could you share their configurations?

I set it to 135MHz and the memory clock at 350Mhz. After testing with Skyrim to check frame rates, I found that without the overclock, the performance was more stable and less affected by drops. Then I adjusted the settings slightly, which improved things a bit, though FPS still suffered.

I'm trying to discover the best stable overclock method for this card and what tools are recommended for checking it. It's been mentioned that this GPU has room for improvement through overclocking, and I'm open to enhancing its performance if confirmed.

Laptop in question: Lenovo Y50 - GTX 960M 2GB - i5-4210h 2.9GHz - 16GB RAM - 1tb 5400rpm

Auzans:
Don't overclock a laptop... That's a big mistake. It's okay to overclock if the temperatures are manageable and your device can handle it. GPU overclocking is acceptable in such cases.

I used a method to increase the speed, but it seems the heat might be limiting it; consider lowering the CPU's speed instead.

Adjust the fan profile curve to be very aggressive and ensure temperature issues won't arise if you maintain regular cleaning of the case from dust.
