GTX 1080ti overlock failing
GTX 1080ti overlock failing
Hi,
I'm having issues with my OC for the GTX 1080 TI Hybrid. There are crashes in Heaven, Valley, BF1, and GTA V. I used 120% power and a 150 GPU offset of 550 Mem off set. A test on GPU-z showed it reaching over 2100 MHZ but still crashing games. Could you help?
Thanks

Hello,
I'm experiencing issues with my gtx 1080 TI Hybrid. There are crashes in Heaven, Valley, BF1 and GTA V.
I was using 120% power and a GPU offset of 550 Mem off set.
I tried testing on GPU-z, it reached over 2100 MHZ but the games still crash.
Could you help?
Thanks.
When you reach a dead end, you might need to increase the voltage—but be careful, it could damage your card.
I also tried overvolting, but it didn’t fix the problem.
Check out a video from JayzCents and follow all the steps carefully. Still no success.
Note: Your initial post doesn’t mention overvolting, just that the power slider isn’t doing it. How would you actually increase the voltage?
Keep in mind...
Overclocks aren't assured. Turn them off and simply savor your premium card.

When you hit a wall you might need to overvolt... but you could also ruin your card.
Loki1944 is reaching out for advice on fixing issues with their GTX 1080 TI Hybrid. They mention problems such as crashes in Heaven, Valley, BF1, GTA V, and note that they used 120% power with a 150 GPU offset of 550 Mem. They tried testing on GPU-z which reached over 2100 MHZ but still experienced crashes. They also shared a video from JayzCents and followed instructions carefully, but the issue persists. They are seeking further help.
Mohammed Talha tried various settings and still faced issues with crashes on his GTX 1080 TI Hybrid. He mentioned using 120% power, a 150 GPU offset of 550 Mem, and attempted overvolting but found no improvement. He also followed instructions from a video by JayzCents without success.

Mohammed Talha tried to increase the voltage on his GTX 1080 TI Hybrid but encountered crashes across multiple games. He mentioned using 120% power settings, a GPU offset of 550, and a 150% memory offset. After testing on GPU-z, it reached over 2100 MHz but still crashed. He followed instructions from JayzCents and noted no improvement. He warned that overvolting can damage the card and advised using software like MSI Afterburner for guidance.
