GTX 1080检测瓶颈...CPU还是RAM?

This happens in WoW / GW2 when around 40 players are online and another 40 appear unexpectedly. A frame seems to freeze, then it restarts normally at 60. Likely the problem is that some new players have models not yet saved in the game or cache, causing delays while loading from HDD/SSD.
100mhz won't change much, but it was inevitable; I haven't had time to push it too far. Turning off HT could help. The problem isn't the average frame rate—it's the frame time. If I lower the resolution to 1080p or 1440p, frame rates will skyrocket. That’s obvious. This seems likely tied to VRAM, CPU, or software tweaks— from what we’ve discussed, RAM probably isn’t the issue. Updates might fix it as well. It’ll be fun to check if disabling HT makes a difference.
Going with Invalid's response at the moment... considering the CPU usage, it doesn't seem like any cores or threads are reaching their maximum. I plan to disable HT and share the findings later if anyone wants to know, but it looks like the SSD might be the issue... since they use HDDs, SATA III is slow and latency isn't great—probably more relevant here than elsewhere in my setup... sadly, it won’t be long before I consider a PCIe 3x4 drive, though I can adjust based on this experience if anyone is interested. Thanks for the assistance, everyone! Appreciate the forum as always.
BTW, when WotLK first launched, I had just 4GB of RAM on my Core 2, and my computer was struggling a lot while navigating Naxx because it kept reloading terrain from the HDD. Switching to 8GB of RAM removed that issue as long as nothing unexpected appeared nearby. This matches what you mentioned.
With 16GB or more, the loading delays in open areas should nearly disappear right away, since previously seen content remains cached in Windows' file system and can be retrieved instantly the next time it appears.
