i increased my gtx 1080 core to 210+ and mem to 400, it ran smoothly on heaven benchmarking but sometimes crashes in bf4 or similar games and restarts me to windows. i’m unsure if more voltage would help since i’ve never worked with it before. any advice would be appreciated. also, in nvidia control panel, should i enable global performance mode?

Game stability and benchmark stability are entirely distinct concepts. Each game will behave differently from one to the next. That's why the overclocking software includes multiple custom profiles.

If BF4 is experiencing issues, it's advisable to reduce your clock speed slightly.
Additionally, check the GPUz sensors tab to understand your actual core clock speeds.
