gtx 1060 3gb overclock
Hello! I can assist you with overclocking your Gigabyte GTX 1060 3 GB. Since you're not very experienced, I recommend starting with the best settings provided by MSI Afterburner to avoid issues. Let me know if you need further guidance.
Mursalin:
I just picked random settings, running base clock at 160 and memory at 212 so far there are no issues.

What settings are you using? You might be experiencing frame drops because your 3GB of VRAM is being overwhelmed. This issue isn't necessarily related to your clock speeds.
I already watched around 5 minutes of that video and I thought it was pointless because he kept talking about the GTX 1080. The game uses a bit more than 2GB of VRAM, so I’m not sure. I’d really prefer if I could find some good settings and do a benchmark afterward.
Every graphics card behaves uniquely, even when placed side by side on the same shelf. Try increasing your memory by +10 and core clock by +5, run a game, and if it runs smoothly keep adding +10 and +5 until you encounter problems. I believe I hit a memory clock of +400 with my 1070, but for games like CS:GO I’d likely run into issues. So start with +10 in memory and +5 in core clock, then adjust further as needed.
I just picked some random options, I'm using base clock at 160 and memory at 212 so far everything is working fine.
