If the game struggles due to insufficient VRAM, increasing available VRAM for the iGPU could help. Keep in mind that dedicating RAM to the iGPU means that RAM is no longer accessible to the CPU. If this results in running out of RAM rather than VRAM, you haven't really improved performance.
