Max Payne 3 and a few titles were adapted for PC by the same developers behind GTA V... They might have also handled the porting of GTA IV.

Question it but you never realize saying GTA 5 could be a bad port, yet if it matches the issues of GTA 4, it’ll be a rough journey.

It seems the team managing this port combines individuals who handled MP3, those who worked on GTA4 (a version that hasn't performed as well as the consoles), and "PC specialists."

It's actually not a port; the PC version was developed together with the console release. The creators produced all assets at high quality initially and then reduced their resolution for PS3 and Xbox360.

Same here, though I was expecting 60fps or higher on my setup.

I’ll receive a lot of attention for this, but let’s rephrase it...there’s proof that PC was the main platform for GTA, indicating it launched first there. There’s also evidence it wasn’t a port.

I'm just referring to the term port for ease of understanding. Did we discuss this recently?
