Hi just finished setting up my new PC and tried to launch GTA V yesterday. It didn’t connect properly—when I click play on Steam it takes a few minutes to load, then it prompts me to exit or use safe mode. I assumed the issue was with the files since I found an old HDD with GTA V installed and copied it over, but after reinstalling this morning the same problem persists. Thanks.

GTA V has often been tricky for me, but I usually manage to load it. Try updating or reinstalling the video drivers.

Ensure the game files are intact and verify the Steam version correctly.

Yeah, I tried it last night and kept saying they were okay. It was the steam version, right?

only tested WoW recently and it works perfectly without any problems, maintaining ideal frame rates—no issues detected so far. This seems to be solely related to GTA V.

Verify additional high-intensity contests and stress scenarios, just to confirm.

Consider using Google/Cloudflare/Open DNS, as it might be restricted in your country due to the Casino update.
