I might remove everything in Rockstar Games > Grand Theft Auto 5, but deleting the folder will restore the game to its original state. If that fails, I’d attempt a reinstall. Keep your important save files backed up too. Also consider updating your graphics driver.

You may need to adjust the options in the Nvidia control panel. Look for 3D Settings and experiment with them for a short time to determine if it functions properly.

I think you might be interested in this GamersNexus vid Pretty much, there is an issue in the RAGE engine (which both RDR2 and GTA V use) that causes stuttering specifically when a CPU is fast and has a low thread count and the game is not GPU bound. I'm not exactly sure what the behavior of the game on your end is though, it might be a totally different issue
