GTA V: RGSC key vs Steam Key?

Hello, how are you? I'm excited to start playing GTA V and purchasing the game. I've been browsing online and noticed two versions available: one requiring a Rockstar Games Social Club key and another as a Steam version. I'm unfamiliar with the RGSC key. I use three gaming clients—Steam, Origin, and Uplay—and haven't heard of RGSC before. Is it similar to services I already use? What are the main differences? I'm curious because the RGSC key tends to be more affordable than the Steam option. Thanks!

RGSC is essentially the top title for Windows Live. I highly recommend purchasing the Steam edition, as it ensures you can access updates and continue playing even if the game becomes unavailable.

It means RGSC won’t allow me to play the game again after changing my PC settings, and they won’t provide updates or bug fixes.

Obtain the steam edition... the download speed is significantly faster and more reliable, probably.

It indicates that if the service fails, the game becomes unusable. At the moment it doesn't appear to be collapsing, but uncertainty remains. Steam provides additional safeguards against this issue.
