Check the baseline specs for the game. With the lowest possible hardware, you should aim for around 30 FPS.

I envision a range of 30 to 60 units, with 60 concentrated in resource-limited zones and 30 to 45 elsewhere.

I don't expect much from the optimization, based on what I've noticed on GTAFourms. Around 30 FPS with interruptions seems realistic.

It's a solid PC build. The 270x is just a decent 1080p card, and it still performs well. Not ideal for video, though.

Optimization works well for me. I managed to reach the teens, but I reduced the settings and haven't hit the 60s yet.

That's correct. My overclocked 270X maintains a stable 60fps consistently. The game performs very well overall, with only minor issues when night mode is activated and shadows are enabled.

Settings? Your 270x only reaches 1180, while my 270 non x model is at 1130.

Check the game on the console—it works fine. On the PC, the GPU should handle it smoothly unless there’s an issue. Playing it yesterday was smooth too.

When playing serious games I've increased it to over 1200, but I'm currently at 1180 since I don't need that high. It runs smoothly on GTA. My usual setting for AAA titles is about 1250.
