It was never promoted heavily except for its low price. Dual-core processors are outdated. No expert has suggested one for about two years.

I have identical specs but with a lower GPU (g4560 + gt 1030). Playing GTA 5, the CPU usage stays high most of the time and the game starts to lag when it reaches 100%. My graphics settings are set to 900p with normal textures and others mixed between high and normal. I consistently get around 60fps with VSync enabled. The main issue was stuttering during high CPU usage. After switching to an SSD, I rarely experience stuttering again, even though the game isn’t installed on the drive. My advice is to use an SSD or lower your graphics settings, especially texture and draw distance, as they significantly impact performance. Hope you find my feedback helpful!
