Are there others experiencing these issues with GTA V on PC? At launch, the audio repeats, the game freezes and crashes, then restarts successfully. Additionally, the menu feels sluggish and the game runs poorly under load.

Reduce all visual options, particularly in the advanced section. It seems your hardware isn’t suited for the game at high configurations.

I attempted that, but with high settings the game worked well until I opened the menu and it slowed down. Later it returned to normal with frequent stutters, though the frame rate stayed acceptable. Sorry for the unclear description.

At first launch the menus felt slow for me, but now they run smoothly thanks to the newest updates.

They’re current, and your game should be fine now. I rebooted it and it crashed briefly before running smoothly for a while, then stuttered again.
