Hey there, seems like you're experiencing some unusual behavior with your textures and artifacts. It appears the Anisotropic Filtering isn't functioning properly in the game unless you enable it manually via the NVIDIA Control Panel. Open that panel, set Anisotropic Filtering to 16x, and your game should display much clearer without performance drops. This adjustment could significantly improve visuals while maintaining frame rates.

You're currently using the latest drivers with a GTX 680 SLI Two-Way graphics card and 2GB of VRAM. Running textures at high settings with MSAA 4x is typical, but you mentioned texture issues persist. It might help to disable TXAA and test both with and without it enabled. Additionally, consider tweaking shadow settings—some users report problems with NVIDIA PCSS shadows or similar special effects. Experimenting with these settings could resolve the issues you're facing.

This filtering technique works well. I'm also dealing with a dotted texture issue and have tried all possible solutions. It seems like a precise mix of factors might be the reason it's hard to resolve...

You're experiencing problems with V-sync while it's active. Some users reported issues after a game update. It might not be universal, but worth checking the latest patches or community discussions.

Hey there, sorry for the delay. I revisited my post after finishing it. Please review the remaining recommendations like TXAA and adjusting shadows quality with MSAA on and off. Feel free to try the AF tweak too. NVIDIA mentioned an unusual AF issue in GTA V within their official tweak guide: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/...-filtering. They also shared sample images highlighting differences in distant texture quality.

It's strange that R* overlooks certain issues. Appreciate the details!

GTX 980 Ti SLI with a noticeable jump in performance after the latest patch. The new update seems to introduce issues, possibly causing FPS drops. There might be a problem with the fix itself. Could be a FIX that affects frame rates. Check the forum link for details and see how it compares to Windows 8.1 on Windows 10.
