Has anyone used this fix on their setup? It’s unclear if it’ll run smoothly at 60 FPS on your Acer XB270HU. Since you haven’t received your monitor yet, I’ll hold off until the game is available during the sale.

You can also search it online <_< He claimed to achieve smooth 60 frames per second using a GTX 970 at 1440p resolution.

He definitely didn’t land that perfect 60 score, especially without the AA. It might’ve been possible without 8xmsaa, but not with 4 or 2.

It’s unclear if it meets a reliable standard since there’s no FPS tracking and certain options were disabled. However, Vsync was enabled, so performance might be limited.

All adjustments are set up. It seems I could handle 45fps at 1080p with just 4xmsaa. With an OC on my card, it looks like he can’t reach close to 1440p. Probably he synced it to 30fps, which is why YouTube didn’t offer a 60fps version.

The 970's display at 1440p is still working well, I'm just using 1080p. All good!

He mentioned he can also hit 60fps at 1440p on his GTX 970, though it might be a bit slower than what you get with your 780Ti. It seems the video uploader may lack proper settings or equipment. Your best chance is still to wait for genuine reviews from trustworthy sources.

The game runs smoothly on both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. It performs well with nVidia GPUs, and once AMD provides a properly optimized driver for GTA 5 (currently in beta), AMD users should be fine too. For the CPU, having an i5 or i7, 3rd generation and newer is sufficient. An AMD system with eight cores works, though six cores may require some overclocking.
