I purchased and installed GTA V via the Rockstar launcher. It would launch briefly, then shut down or greet me with a BSOD. After adjusting the graphics settings to normal, the issue persists. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Gigabyte Radeon RX580, 12GB RAM (8GB HyperX Furry, 4GB ADATA XPG), Biostar B450MHP motherboard, 480GB ADATA SSD, Corsair VS 550W PSU. Could you clarify what kind of error you're experiencing? It seems the issue might be related to overheating, but more details would help.

Several factors might be involved here. A bad GPU, faulty RAM (especially with an 8+4 configuration) and driver problems could be at play. The PSU might also be an issue, possibly overheating. I’d start by checking the PSU, GPU and overheating first. Then try a tougher game to see if similar problems appear.

Hey, I resolved the issue—my CPU was overheating because the thermal paste had worn out.
