The game needs to work with DX12. Even though W10 does, not every game you own will necessarily run on DX12. If a game isn’t updated to DX12, you won’t be able to use it.

It seems I might have misinterpreted something; I recall reading somewhere about dx11 games performing a bit quicker on dx12. Apologies if it wasn’t clear.
