GTA V costs $40 on Amazon for a disc and $60 on Steam. If you choose the disc, you won’t get the latest updates? Let me know your thoughts!

Wait a minute, right? The only change will be not starting the game via Steam, but you'll still receive updates, haha.

They say you need to wait for several discs before the process starts, and even after that, you'll have to download more updates. It's best to keep an eye on Steam sales.

It only requires an hour to set up. The process is quite quick, though some may find the download taking longer.

I’d rather let the download finish overnight instead of managing the installer manually, swapping disks occasionally but in my own way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You simply need the product code, the launcher file, and enter the product code—either method works equally well.

However, here we find a slow connection speed of just 1mb/s, and I’d be done by the time 46GB of GTA finishes downloading.

You'll overlook the key element in GTA V.

It's more affordable. It's essentially a CD key in another format. You can turn it on using the DRM that the game requires. I installed BF3 from a disc, while I bought all my BF games that way. For BF4, I just redeemed the code through Origin and let my high-speed downloads work.
