I had a thread open earlier, thinking it was fixed but it wasn't. Experiencing significant frame rate drops in GTA V. All settings are set to Normal except a few that are off. Only achieving around 30 FPS. Previously, I got 60 FPS on High to Very High settings, but after reformatting my PC the problem persists. My system runs AMD 6100 @ 3.30GHz GTX 660 @ 2 GB.

The latest patch has caused the frame rate to rise to 40 FPS despite V-Sync being disabled. Could there be a problem with the settings or the game?

It seems there were many issues after the latest update, and my performance has dropped significantly compared to before.

Also me, I was seeing around 60 FPS before. Now it's fluctuating between 20 to 30 and then spikes to 60 for a short time. It's frustrating because the 20 FPS lasts only about ten minutes, then it returns to 30 or 60 again. Rock! What's going on?

It seems to be a prediction about an issue being resolved soon or tied to a special event.

With R* you can't always predict outcomes.
