Since the release, I've consistently faced connection issues when joining busy GTA Online servers. Usually, I can maintain a stable link for about 10 to 15 minutes before it drops, forcing me into an empty lobby and requiring me to reconnect with my friends. It's frustrating to play online with others under these conditions... p2p servers might not have been the ideal choice.

P2P isn't the main issue—it's the company behind it. If you haven't done so yet, employ a VPN. This will stop certain throttling, packet discrimination, and stop Comcast from monitoring your activity.

I'm pretty confident it's not real. My heart went out after hearing about the Comcast TW merger. No worries, though—Time Warner seems to be okay.

Looking for a reliable VPN is a good idea. Regarding your experience with Comcast, it seems like you're dealing with both service limits and performance problems during busy times. It's frustrating when you've invested in something and still face issues. The situation with R* suggests ongoing unresolved bugs across different platforms, which isn't acceptable either side. It might be worth exploring alternative providers or solutions to avoid these recurring problems.

I haven’t felt any kind of internet disconnection issues. Other programs keep getting data while the GTA V connection is shaky as hell. If I had a different router, I’d just change the access points, but I’m limited to the rented Comcast modem/router. To be honest, I can’t make sense of spending another $30–50 just for this game, so I’ll explore using a VPN.

The issue seems to be related to port-forwarding on your side. I experienced similar problems before, but after forwarding certain ports, it resolved. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-...gsprobleme
