I installed GTA V and it runs smoothly at most high settings with around 70 to 110 FPS. The camera feels stiff when you turn it, but frame rate stays steady and visuals look great. This issue also appears in Witcher 3. What causes this problem? Is there a fix? I play Tomb Raider in ultra settings without issues and use GSync on a 1440p 144Hz monitor. Any advice or does it seem normal for the games?

vsync provides assistance, but GTA 5 struggles with optimization, often causing screen tearing and instability.

I'm working with gsync, so regular sync updates don't apply to me.

It's unclear whether this has been ongoing or recently began.

often I noticed it when I played GTA V, and since then I’ve picked up some awkward movement in Witcher 3 too. It probably isn’t a system issue because Tomb Raider runs smoothly on everything. Withcer is actually great, though I feel like I’m searching for it too much. GTA still feels a bit stiff with the camera shifting.

Try using direct input instead of raw input. Adjusting the mouse movement settings might improve performance.
