Hey guys, GF is really into GTA and I thought I’d catch up with her after work today. I wasn’t trying to get exact numbers, just a rough idea, but I know that’s probably not going to happen. The CPU isn’t being overclocked, I’m sure. Thanks for the support!

That was the first step I took when creating it.

What do you think about using a stock cooler? I've run my 4770K stock for a month without any problems. Unless you're planning to overclock, it should be fine.

It may slow down even with the stock cooler on. *cough* This is different from the 8350 model.

Stock chivalry reaches 80°C, which is dangerous for your CPU, and then GTA V? Forget about it.

The temperature is confirmed at 40°C. I’m not sure about the mounting, but the cooler seems to handle maxed CPU loads without throttling under stock clocks. (Based on a 750D with 20°C.) If the cooler was that problematic for stock clocks, Intel wouldn’t have included it would they?

Verify references, Haswell's maximum temperature is 105°C (the point of throttling). 80°C is perfectly fine.

It's a reasonable case in terms of dimensions.
