GTA V
GTA V
I haven't played the game after the nightclub update. I usually play heist few survivals and rarely play races. I don't like being killed by flying vehicles since there are plenty of them now. I remember my vehicle turning into a boat, carrying people with me, fire flames water and many more! But as I said, it's GTA so it's fun.
It's time to give this discussion a little lift...
It's a game that's six years old. I get why you feel it's gone. The experience depends on how you shape it, whether online or offline. It's far from Saints Row. Sure, money drops appear, but there are methods to handle them—both useful and passive if you know the right approach.
Have you considered adjusting the graphics settings? What's your PC like?
Online performance is solid now. When modifying, it's essential to read instructions carefully and understand what you're doing. Crashes occur, but it's mostly trial and error.
Missing out is a big issue if you've never played online—it's a completely different experience with equal variety.
If you're at the bottom of the ranks, you'll struggle. You can adapt by playing passively to get accustomed to the system. Online can be just as enjoyable as single-player, if not more so.
A perfect summary of modding GTA 5 would be to add "endless" to the description—it really is.
I used to do this for years. Now I'm back in, captivated by all the ongoing updates. Just hit hour 466 today. A few weeks ago it was around 280 hours. After a long break, I'm diving back into the grind I once had on Xbox 360. The PC version runs smoothly at 1440p with 75-125 fps.
It's definitely a challenge, you're right. I've been playing daily for the past couple of weeks (after a year-long pause) and every day I log in finding a public server without hackers is effortless. Just search for a new session until you land in a lobby with fewer than eight players. It usually takes 1 to 7 attempts, at most. The more friends you join, the easier it becomes to connect with those who enjoy low-traffic lobbies. Sure, you'll encounter hackers, but remember there are two types: friendlies and grievers. Friendlies can assist in many ways, while grievers are just a problem to solve by switching sessions.
As for those 600 phone calls, they disappear once you buy a bunker, an office, a hangar, a nightclub, etc.—but never received a message telling me to buy a yacht or a sports car. I'm not sure why or how you're getting such messages.
There are many ways to manage flying vehicles. You can purchase them yourself or wait for sales. For modders, simply find a new session—problem solved. GTA 5 must remain engaging with ongoing DLCs and a vibrant online community.
Yes. Alongside scripted NPC enemies in general missions, some AI is surprisingly intelligent and unpredictable enough to earn praise. The DD heist setup missions are a good example. On tougher runs, you need to invest time to master them.
Loading times aren't terrible once you get the hang of it.
They still exist, I promise. And there are ways to manage your finances. Spending money right away is a smart move. Keeping your transaction history clean is wise too—large deposits or transactions that seem out of place are suspicious. A deposit of a hundred thousand and scattered smaller transactions between earnings are typical, right?
Knowing what you're doing opens up many possibilities.
Lol. It's been a struggle to rejoin the servers multiple times just to find a server without hackers. Easy enough. I can't afford to buy all that stuff, and I'm not really into it anyway. They probably send texts or emails when they have new vehicles in stock or special discounts. Not always getting them, but I'm pretty sure I've had a few before.
