I recently purchased GTA San Andreas on Steam, but opening it consistently fails. After searching online, someone suggested adjusting the compatibility settings to Windows 7, yet the issue persists. I realized the game was originally designed for Windows XP, so I switched it to Windows Now XP. However, I encountered a problem stating that "xinput 1_3.dll is missing from my computer. What should I do? I'm currently using Windows 10."

I faced the same problem with San Andreas too. I'm using Windows 10, but I couldn't locate a fix, so I ended up returning the game and purchasing GTA IV instead.

Avoid purchasing GTA SA from Steam due to its poor condition. Opt for a physical edition instead.

Older titles and modern systems don’t always work together. I’ve been playing smoothly on a dual-core Windows 7 setup, but on my Windows 10 laptop there are moments when the mouse isn’t detected by GTA at all, and occasionally it loads with the car screen and loading bar but then crashes.

Sure thing! Just to clarify, the feedback on Steam was really good, so I didn’t expect any problems.

Download it quickly even though it may require a bit of time.

It's frustrating, especially since it was just $3 over. I'm not sure how to request a refund.

I'm not certain about the refund process with Steam, but searching online for instructions might clarify things. It seems similar issues have occurred recently, so checking recent guides could be helpful.

They hid it away and now the widescreen feature isn’t functioning, the audio quality is reduced, and performance remains sluggish.
