Looking into the performance details for GTA Online on PC. What settings work best and what hardware specifications are typical? Just let me know if you meant GTA Online in general.

Various frame rates ranging from 12 to 29 FPS, with an average of 17 FPS, achieved on an i3 2120 and GT 710. Most settings minimized or disabled, except for Antialiasing at level 4.

It functions on a CPU, which affects performance. With my 3570k and 1070, I'm getting around 60 FPS at medium settings. After upgrading to a 3700x, it's now GPU limited. Since I haven't played much recently, I don't know the exact FPS on my new hardware.

your rtx 2080 with a max setting of 60-90 fps runs smoothly in online mode. it seems the game is utilizing minimal GPU resources, which might be why you're not seeing higher performance.
