Gta 5 settings for gtx 1080
Gta 5 settings for gtx 1080
Hi, my name is segev.
I'm struggling to get the ideal graphics settings in GTA 5 that balance visual quality with smooth frame rates. A frame rate of 100+ is what I'm aiming for.
Currently, I'm seeing between 70 to 80 fps in story mode.
My setup includes:
- Intel i7 6700K at 4 GHz
- H100i v2 cooling solution
- Z170 Pro Gaming from ASUS
- 32 GB RAM on a Hyper X running at 2400 MHz
- ASUS GTX 1080
- 600W power supply
- SSD and hard drive storage
- An ASUS 144 Hz monitor
I maintain good temperatures—CPU around 57°C and GPU around 65°C.
I believe my CPU isn't limiting the GPU performance.
Could anyone who owns a GTX 1080 share suitable graphics settings for this game?
Thanks and have a great day!
I have a 1080 but not a 6700K. It's quite independent, so you'll need to experiment with them to find what suits you best.
You possess a different card than me, and your memory differs from mine—those small differences can affect performance.
I also tried a similar setup and needed to lower the parameters to achieve the desired performance. For the frames per second you're aiming, you'll have to adjust the game's settings. I usually play at full power and keep my monitor at 60Hz since I'm aware smooth 144FPS isn't guaranteed. You might be able to maintain around 100FPS by choosing medium to high settings.
These are the optimized graphic configurations for GTA 5 to boost FPS while maintaining visual quality. I've conducted thorough research and performed extensive testing to arrive at these adjustments. Expect GTA Online to behave differently compared to Story mode unless you're playing solo lobbies. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
