I own a decent machine with a Ryzen 5 1400 and an GTX 1060 with 8GB DDR4. After some gaming sessions I notice FPS drops and performance becomes unstable, forcing me to restart the game frequently. It usually hits around 60 FPS, but it’s unpredictable and often crashes unless I keep restarting.

It seems there might have been a server issue on Rockstar. I was experiencing some lag.

Anything happening at Rockstar shouldn't affect client-side FPS. It might lead to rubberbanding, but it won't change the frame rate.

I don't have access to real-time system metrics like memory or VRAM usage. Please check your device's settings or performance monitoring tools for that information.

You probably ran out of VRAM in GTA V multiple times, leading to lag. This issue is mainly due to insufficient VRAM from your graphics card. If your 1060 model has just 3 gigabytes of VRAM, that’s likely the cause of your slow performance.

times are fine and it doesn’t affect my connection, that’s certain. I’m using a stable internet connection.
