Depends on the configuration and whether you're using GE for optimization. Various GPUs are possible, though settings remain uncertain. If you enable GE (GeForce Experience), be mindful that it doesn't boost resolution factors (DSR) and grass should be set to full. You can use the quality slider in GE settings if needed, but avoid overly high adjustments. Alternatively, review the list and adjust manually as required.
Did you try using GE to optimise? Those adjustments would still apply in GTA. You should check the settings in GTA and search for elements such as view distance, population density, resolution scaling, grass quality, shadows, etc. GE might make it hard to find what you need because it can alter many things without clear guidance.
You might want your 1050ti friend to take a screenshot of all his GTA settings and copy them for a baseline, then adjust as needed since your GPU is much faster.
Also, provide the rest of your PC specifications, including yours and your friend’s, to compare because GTA online is quite CPU demanding.
Uncertainty 100+, settings aren't fully optimized. What defines the maximum? Does the game preset also enable high-quality anti-aliasing? I don't recall. The 1050ti can't reach 100+ max settings. There must be another factor at play.
What models of processors are you using? Are these identical configurations and specifications?
