I have contacted Rockstar support a total of 5 times. Although they were friendly and useful, they have exhausted all possible fixes of which none have worked. I am praying that you guys can shine some new advice down on me.
With over 1000 hours played of this game, I'll be very gutted if I can't get it to work. I have been trying to fix it for two weeks solid, pretty much.
I get the same error every single time:

Reinstalling Windows 10 is recommended; however, first, detail the precise circumstances surrounding Grand Theft Auto V crashes. Determine if other games operate without issues. Verify that full-screen optimization has been disabled for GTA 5 via Google search. Confirm whether GeForce Experience is utilized for driver installation or GTA 5 optimization. Conduct a system stress test using RealBench. Perform RAM testing with Memtest86. Identify any mods currently implemented in GTA 5. Assess the presence of multiple displays, suggesting a temporary switch to a single display.

Investigate the Windows Event Viewer to determine if any driver files (identified by the .sys extension) are associated with the crash.

Some good ideas exist.
Every other game I have played has been satisfactory.
I typically play in borderless windowed mode, but I have experimented with fullscreen. I am unfamiliar with Windows 10 fullscreen optimization and will investigate it after completing this post.
During a clean installation of the Nvidia drivers, I declined to use GeForce Experience due to concerns about interference with graphics settings for GTA and other games.
I have not yet tested my system under load using RealBench; I am unfamiliar with the software but will research it.
Testing RAM with Memtest is an idea; I need to acquire a disk or USB drive to conduct this test properly.
I am not utilizing any mods for GTA 5.
And yes, I am employing two displays, which represents another variable I can examine.

A prolonged failure indicates a thermal problem. It may take approximately 10-20 minutes for heat to accumulate. The issue could involve either the CPU or graphics card. Remove the case covers to observe any changes. Monitor your CPU and graphics card temperatures. Have you overclocked the 6600K? If so, reduce the clock speeds. What is your CPU cooler? Ensure it is securely mounted.

I have not overclocked anything and after downloading a heat monitor, my GPU reached a maximum temperature of 65.0°C and my CPU reached 55.0°C prior to the system crashing.

Given that the issue exclusively occurs with GTA5, a game patch is unlikely.

GTA5 is heavily CPU-dependent and primarily single-threaded.

Analyze the timing of the failure; could another process trigger within 210-20 minutes?

An email send/receive might align with this timeframe.

Specify your antivirus software; it may be involved.

Windows Defender is a low-impact, adequate solution.

Utilize two displays: run Task Manager on the secondary display and monitor running applications for clues.

Review Windows instrumentation settings and adjust privacy settings to minimize data collection. Specifically, disable automatic PC updates for sharing.

Recent online research indicates multiple users have experienced this identical error without a resolution. Disconnecting the secondary monitor temporarily extended the game’s stability, but this was not a permanent solution. I utilize Windows Defender as my antivirus software. While I can attempt monitoring background processes with Task Manager, my familiarity with relevant indicators is limited. Editing: Observing gameplay while experiencing crashes revealed no unusual processes.

I encountered similar errors and attempted all possible troubleshooting steps. The game crashes even when idle.

launcherlog :
I contacted support and received this:
https://support.rockstargames.com/a...at...erformance
but nothing seems to work. I was told they don't investigate individual problems.

sysspecs:
i7-5820k, GTX970 (asus 4gb), 2x8 gb DDR4 Ram, mainboard x99-A asus, 2 screens, ssd with Windows running and hdd with game on it, playing on steam. I can only believe this is related to the game itself because I have never experienced similar issues in other games, having used these settings for almost 5 years. My PC runs perfectly except for the online mode of GTA5.

I’ve also heard from higher-level players in GTA5 Online that many are experiencing crashing issues; one stated it began after the casino update.
