I purchased my initial bike via phone, rode it around, and then suffered an accident shortly after. Upon checking Trevor’s residence—the place I used during the crash—I looked at the repo lot and my garage, but found nothing. Please let me know if you need further assistance!

They likely meant GTA IV and missed a key point. From what I remember, it should appear at the repository unless it’s still tied to your account. The way the game manages bought cars feels pretty poor.

GTA V’s story mode behaves differently from the online version. It’s been a while since I played, but unless you save the car in the character’s garage it won’t be saved. Restarting without saving or damaging it means it disappears and you’ll need to purchase it again. If you never saved the vehicle after buying it, it’s likely gone permanently. You might try reloading an earlier save before buying the bike to recover some progress and get your money back. Rockstar generally discourages players from buying cars in story mode, preferring the online experience where they can earn money through in-game purchases with shark cards.

Sure, I understand you're talking about GTA 5. This issue has been affecting me a bit, especially since I'm about 25% through the game.
