Hi guys
Just installed the new rockstar launcher a few days back, right? Now it tells me I need to install GTA 5 even though I already have it on my PC. Do I really have to remove it and wait four days for it to download again? Or is there a way to point the launcher to my installation folder instead? Thanks for your help!

When you follow the instructions, the installation process is quick—just about 1.5 to 2.5 GB. It's interesting how the launcher performs; it does two things correctly, and I haven’t seen any mistakes. The two correct aspects are:
It functions almost like a simple launcher. After clicking the game on Steam, it launches within roughly 15 to 20 seconds, and it seems the launcher isn’t being used at all.
I’ve observed a performance improvement of 10 to 20% since switching to this launcher, even when playing in the Casino. Previously, games would take around 40 seconds or more inside the Casino, but now they consistently run at about 60 to 65 seconds, often reaching the high 50s.
On another note, I encountered a problem with the two-step authenticator app while trying to log in to the launcher for free games like San Andreas. I had to reach out to Rockstar and submit a ticket to resolve the issue. It took them about a week, given they handle thousands of requests daily, but once it was fixed, logging in became smooth again. I was able to install San Andreas right away. The main reason for the delay was forgetting the password for that two-step verification. If you remember your password, you shouldn’t need to delete it.
