Consider updating DirectX; reinstalling the game might resolve the issue. It looks like the file is damaged.

Checked before the update. No changes made. Also, I’ve already reinstalled it and don’t want to do that again. My connection is really slow.

Updated DirectX settings applied. Navigate to the game folder directory, right-click it, select Properties, and verify that Read Only is not selected.
