You're experiencing low FPS in GTA 5 on PC despite high graphics. Checking the attached PC settings file can help identify if the issue lies with resource limits or driver settings. Adjusting settings within the game or optimizing system performance might improve stability.

Just lower the settings, man. Or follow what @BuckGup recommends—buy new gear. It’s straightforward.

I can't take screenshots directly. However, you can open the game's settings or advanced graphic settings page and capture the screen using your device's built-in tools or third-party apps.

I previously played GTA5 on an older i5 and GTX650Ti, achieving a stable 40 FPS with the medium setting. My friends with more powerful systems struggled significantly, while I maintained that same frame rate. Adapting to that pace helped me, but now modern hardware should handle the medium setting smoothly—aim for at least 60 FPS if your CPU can keep up. The visual differences between high and low settings are subtle, but performance matters a lot.

Turn off VSync if you haven’t already verified your frames aren’t capped. Remove any installed mods and confirm you’re using your dedicated GPU, not an integrated one. Share screenshots of your in-game graphics settings.
