Bought recently via mail – G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5. Front panel shows Intel XMP ready; after checking online, I think it works with both Intel and AMD. Looking for guidance on compatibility and setup details for the ASUS Prime X670-P LGA 1718 AMD motherboard and RAM.
The ram isn't shown in the motherboard QVL chart, but that doesn't mean it won't fit. They haven't tested it yet. It's probably going to work because Expo supports Intel and many XMP options for AM5. I've seen others use Trident Z5 XMP RAM on AM5 boards without problems.

ASUS Prime X670-P LGA 1718 AMD board is mainly about checking RAM compatibility. I’m wondering if it could be an Intel ad on the RAM, but since ASUS Z series is known to be Intel products and this Z series RAM fits, it makes sense according to my understanding. I don’t want to mention going through Google searches; just a quick tip from what I found so far. DRDR5 RAM seems more versatile across platforms now, though some AM4 boards can still work with DDR5 sticks.

I understand your point now. I have the processor ready, just completed it by next month except for the RAM and CPU, which are still pending. I’m aiming for a 16-core AM5 Ryzen or if that’s not possible, a 12-core/7900 series.
After using g.skill, it hasn't been verified; this is due to lack of processor support, which prevents testing. It remains the sole reason for its absence on the g.skills platform with compatible RAM. Unless confirmed otherwise, stay calm until next month. The hybrid platform memory is more than sufficient.
I'm testing G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB XMP memory (model F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5RK) on an MSI X670E Carbon Wi-Fi. It performs well and reaches up to 6400MT/s speed (1:1) on my 7950X3D without any problems. Adjusting XMP/EXPO has been inconsistent until recent BIOS updates, but using Memory Try It! profiles or manually setting timings is effective.
Bios settings explained—simple manual setup. Plenty of YouTube guides if needed. Probably no problem since RAM offers more flexibility.
