High-end memory speeds exceeding 4400mhz usually require very strong cooling. This is uncommon for regular use, and you rarely find such overclocking in everyday situations.

It's actually quite typical, though AMD might not be the best fit. Their IMCs and interconnects struggle, while Intel CPUs have solid performance. The IMOC is impressive, and with a decent overclock, you could easily hit around 4800 MHz.

I don’t have any direct links to support that claim. If you need references, let me know and I can help locate appropriate sources.

I recall a forum member who quickly reached 4800 using a 10900k, though I don’t remember the specific thread.

We mention it simply but the exact settings remain unclear. It seems a better phrasing might be possible. The memory voltage around 1.55-1.65V probably means Vcc is near 1.25V or similar... I've used 1.9V CL12 at 4000MHz, and it wasn't smooth or reliable.

I believe VCOC was around 1.1 and the DRAM voltage was approximately 1.45. I shouldn’t have used those terms casually, sorry for the mistake!

These 4800mhz sticks typically come with a 1.50V supply.

They were probably golden bin royals, which means the silicon on them is much superior to regular ones.

Wow, you really pushed me to my limits. The Intel rig is back on the bench again, isn’t it? I’m sitting at 258th place for DDR4 memory speed at 4312mhz. That’s insane! My IMC won’t let me submit 4400mhz. Keep getting those blue screens and restarting memory training. There’s some minor corruption. I’ll have to redo the installation of Winders 7. Then I’ll seal the board, fill it with LN2, and give it another shot. It feels good to keep going after not being pushed hard in a while.
